Just like everything else, not all stroller can serve the same job properly because each one of them are following a different standard and created for different family which is why we need to find the right stroller that can support our everyday activities.

Especially for mothers, many of us want to get our body back after giving birth and to keep healthy while taking care of our children. Just as you may already know, joggers use 3 wheel system but not all 3 wheel stroller are joggers.

Different from regular stroller, jogging stroller are using air filled tires and the frame will be sturdy enough to handle many rougher terrains you are going to meet. However, depend on the model, just like regular stroller, a jogger may or may not able to receive infant car seat in their frame so you can convert it into a travel system. Another feature you may want to consider is the suspension system because a good jogger should able to absorb the shock of bumpy, uneven roads.

About Graco FastAction and Roadmaster
There are so many brands or manufacturer out there that offer stroller or travels system but not all of them are dependable or provide you with high quality products so before selecting the stroller, we need to pick a reputable brand first. When it comes to stroller, the one brand that you can always rely on to is Graco with their huge collection of strollers and other baby gears in their catalogue such as car seats or bassinet.

This brand offer different types of stroller depend on your need thus, users can pick the one that match with their lifestyle of provide them with the preferred features. If you are looking for the stroller that can be taken to a jogging or slow running outside then you may want to check on FastAction and Roadmaster jogging stroller. Both of them has been around for quite some time and equally popular among parents with the set of features they have come with.

Graco FastAction and Roadmaster Design
As you can see from the outside, both of Graco FastAction and Roadmaster are 3-wheel jogging stroller and even though they are made by the same manufacturer, they use a different design on both stroller so we can tell them apart instantly. The prominent difference are on both fabric and frame because even though they look like to use the same frame, FastAction is actually slightly heavier than the other while the maximum weight capacity is still the same at 50 pounds.

Another thing that you can use to easily separate them is from the overall color option because RoadMaster is using the same color for the both frame and fabric to make the stroller even more stylish while FastAction stroller is a bit classic with the color combination like gray and black. Both of these stroller are available in the travel system package so if you want to have the car seat as well, it is good to choose the option.

Graco FastAction and Roadmaster Features
Let’s talk about the obvious thing first which is the canopy because even though this features is very visible, some parents often missed it when looking for a stroller for their children. As you can see from the sample picture above, both of FastAction and Roadmaster are using two panel canopy in a decent size but they have a different design and comparing the two, RoadMaster stroller canopy seems to provide more room above your children’s head while the other is lower.

These canopies have a peek a boo window at the top but FastAction add another pair in both side of the canopy which will act as an air ventilator for better airflow for your children. Since they are using 2 panel, you can adjust them to be shorter or completely off when the weather is nice so little one can enjoy their surroundings while you push their stroller. Moving down, here you can see the seat that can be adjusted easily with one hand featured with harness to keep children safe.

If your children prefer, you can attach a tray in front of the seat so they can drink and snacking on the go which can be attach and detach easily when placing or removing the passenger. In this side, RoadMaster offer a slightly better feature because the frame not only capable of taking infant car seat but can be taken completely off too. This capability is very useful when you want to reduce the weight and convert the stroller into an infant car carrier.

However, as you may already know, we don’t recommend taking younger baby for a jogging since their body is not strong enough yet so this feature is only good for regular strolling or when going outside with your baby. Moving to the upper part, here you can find a similar tray with the one in front of the seat in FastAction stroller for parents carrying their beverage or keeping small belongings for easier access. In the other stroller, there is only a cup holder in the right part of the handle. Read also: Graco Uno2Duo vs City Select here.

On the handlebar itself, both strollers are featured with soft padding to enhance the comfort but in adjustment, only RoadMaster stroller have the height adjustment and instead of telescoping bar, this model is using a rotating system, so they can go higher but not helping much in length. Moving down, here you can see the main basket and both strollers have a wide compartment which is very useful to carry bag or even grocery to lessen the burden in your shoulder.

As it has been mentioned above, a jogging stroller have to use air-filled rubber tires so they can properly deal with rougher terrain in where you are going to jog. FastAction and Roadmaster use air filled tires with the bigger twos places on the rear and since they are filled with air, you will need to carry a pump as well just in case they goes flat while being used. Front wheel is swivel but you can lock them to make the stroller more stable when on rougher terrain.

A good jogging stroller should offer an additional suspension system into the wheels and it is unfortunate that neither of FastAction and Roadmaster are coming with this important feature thus, the suspension they provide is only from the air filled tires which is not enough if you are running on an uneven road since there is no suspension to absorb the shock and promote a better comfort for both you and little one.

Because we will take these two outside and carry them in our car’s trunk, another feature you may want to know is how compact or easy you can fold the stroller so it can fit and sit neatly in your car. Thankfully, both of them are using the same simple folding system that can be done by only pulling the handle located on the toddler seat which is covered with a material for safety. When folded, they will come together on half form and what’s good is you can make them stand on their own.

It may seems as not that important but it will be very useful when you are living in an urban area or often taking public transportation to travel thus, a standing fold stroller can fit and carried easier on bus or train.

Comparison
Now, let’s compare Graco FastAction with Roadmaster. As it has been mentioned earlier, both strollers are indeed joggers but the design and features are quite different. First, the canopy of Roadmaster is higher than FastAction. Second, you can remove the seat of Roadmaster completely off from the frame and use it for infant car seat carrier system instead. Third, FastAction have a parent tray in front of the handle bar while the other only have beverage cup.
